Sunescape Spray Tanning
Sunescape is an Australian-owned sunless tanning range known for delivering natural-looking colour along with its signature tropical scent. Sunescape products are formulated to provide a natural looking and feeling tan, and one that smells amazing. They contain added vitamins, antioxidants and oils to nourish skin, as well as anti-ageing, hydrating and firming ingredients to leave skin smooth and replenished.
The proprietary Professional formula uses certified natural DHA made from beetroot and rapa seed and is FREE from alcohol, parabens and petrochemicals.
Spray tans take minimal time to do and can last up to 10 days with the proper maintenance!
- For best results, skin should be thoroughly exfoliated prior to spraying. Exfoliating helps to remove any dead skin cells and enables skin to absorb the tanning solution more effectively and evenly.
- Hair removal should be done a minimum of 24 hours prior to spray tanning.
- For waxing, 48 hours is recommended so that the skin has plenty of time to calm/ minimize any possible irritation.
- If you plan to get your nails done, do so before your tan appointment. YOU DO NOT WANT TO SOAK YOUR SKIN AFTER THE SPRAY TAN IS APPLIED ON YOUR SKIN.
- Loose, dark clothing is best as well as slip on shoes.
- Remove contact lenses and all jewelry prior to the spray tan being done.
- We provide a disposable thong if preferred
- For best results, skin should be dry and free from any oils, moisturizers, makeup and deodorant. Tans work best on dry, unscented skin.
- Lightly apply moisturizer or a barrier cream to areas of hard skin such as palms, heels, knees and elbows. This will prevent the spray from ‘grabbing’ onto areas that may not have been exfoliated sufficiently. (moisturizer is provided at the spa if deemed necessary).
- Do not shower, exercise vigorously, sweat or get wet for at least 4 hours after being tanned (you can leave the tan longer if desired).
- Avoid waxing after your tan as this will remove the tan.
- Avoid the use of soaps and body washes that contain the ingredient: ‘Sodium Laurel Sulfate’.
- Avoid long hot showers/baths and prolonged swimming to lengthen your tan.
- To maintain your tan, keep your skin hydrated.
