Deep Detox
Our deep detox facial is specific to targeting acne and oily skin types. It involves a thorough double cleanse with our PCA blemish control bar containing 2% salicylic acid. Tailored specifically to your needs, steam and hot towels are applied to soften the skin and pores to allow for comfortable extractions. Once extractions are completed, we use our signature PCA detoxifying mask. This charcoal mask minimizes the appearance of pores while absorbing excess dirt, oil and debris trapped deep in the pores. It deeply detoxifies pores and helps support a clear complexion. Suitable for all skin types! During this facial, we treat the skin with a high frequency treatment. This is non-invasive and is painless. Lastly, the deep detox facial is completed with a neck/shoulder massage + finishing serums/moisturizer + SPF!

What is High Frequency?
High frequency facial machines function by using a glass high frequency electrode to treat various contours of the face and body. When applied to the surface of the skin, a mild electrical current passes through the neon, or argon gas filled glass electrode, causing it to emit a subtle glow and buzzing noise. During the high frequency treatment, enriched oxygen molecules are produced that creates an anti-bacterial action and a “natural” thermal tissue warming. This reaction helps your blood vessels push away toxins, while the cells in your skin are enriched with nutrients and hydrating volume. This in turn creates an increase in blood circulation and cell renewal that supports increased levels of collagen and elastin. The skin is left feeling instantly energized and noticeably softer after just one treatment.

Please show up to your appointment with clean skin. Excessive make-up or product may take longer to cleanse and remove, which will cut into your treatment time. Please check that the contraindications do not apply to you. Necklaces and earrings will have to be removed during the treatment. This facial option is heavily based on unclogging pores and treating acne-prone skin! It may not be the most relaxing option, but you will be leaving with squeaky clean skin!
Aerobic exercise or physical activity should be avoided until all or any redness has subsided. Direct sunlight exposure is to be completely avoided immediately following the treatment (including any strong UV light exposure and tanning beds). If some sun exposure cannot be avoided apply a mineral sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or greater. Your aesthetician will finish your treatment with a mineral SPF, but make sure to reapply every 2 hours. Cleanse your face with water or a gentle cleanser twice daily followed by SPF. Results are also heavily influenced by the skin care products you are using at home and how often you are getting facials done! Keep this in mind when you are trying to correct any skin concern(s). For maximum results + benefits, this facial should be performed every 3-4 weeks with the proper at home routine. Ask your aesthetician for product recommendation for at home use!
