Contraindications
- Accutane
- Active skin conditions such as cold sores, psoriasis, eczema, etc.
- Recent laser procedures (ablative & non-ablative)
- Botox or Filler injections within 2 weeks prior
- Use of AHS’s, BHA’s, Retinol, Retinoids, or any derivatives of Vitamin A 1-3 days prior to your treatment
- Recent chemical peel treatment or micro-needling within 2-3 weeks prior

OXYGENEO TREATMENTS
Please show up to your appointment with clean skin. Excessive make-up or product may take longer to cleanse and remove, which will cut into your treatment time. Please check that the contraindications do not apply to you. Necklaces and earrings will have to be removed during the treatment. This facial is best if you are looking for a mix of thorough exfoliation + infusion of active ingredients! Your aesthetician will choose which Geneo treatment is best for your skin. There are many options for all skin concerns - Hydrating, Reviving, Brightening, or Balancing!
Aerobic exercise or physical activity should be avoided until all or any redness has subsided. Direct sunlight exposure is to be completely avoided immediately following the treatment (including any strong UV light exposure and tanning beds). If some sun exposure cannot be avoided apply a mineral sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or greater. Your aesthetician will finish your treatment with a mineral SPF, but make sure to reapply every 2 hours. Cleanse your face with water or a gentle cleanser twice daily followed by SPF. Results are also heavily influenced by the skin care products you are using at home. Depending on your desired skin goals, you can book another Geneo treatment after 4 weeks! Do not undergo an exfoliating treatment within the 4 week period. This will cause irritation and stripping of the skin barrier.
You can expect to see visible texture improvement immediately after the 1st treatment. The OxyGeneo™ effect is cumulative, so more treatments will bring better results.

An OxyGeneo™ treatment feels like a warm massage for the face. The exfoliation is described as very refreshing and comfortable and, because there is no harsh vacuum procedure, the treatment is soothing and relaxing. More sensitive skin type clients may have a gentle tingling sensation during the first couple of minutes.
The basic OxyGeneo™ treatment takes about 35-45 minutes. The OxyGeneo™ treatment can be done as a ‘stand-alone’ facial or in combination with other modalities, which will extend the duration of the overall treatment.
